ABOUT ME! Last Update: 02/07/05 Click Here For Photos of My Family Hello, my name is Brandie and I'm the webmaster of UselessFun.com. I've had this site for about 5 years now, and it continues to grow and get better as time goes by. I now have at least 130 pages, along with a lot of stuff that I never offered previously, such as funny pictures and games. So I sit here at my computer and update my webpage with the hope that somebody, somewhere on the web, will stop by and enjoy the site. So I obviously enjoy website design, because otherwise I wouldn't waste 100 hours a year working on the site. I really DO have a life! My life is, care you to know, extremely busy. I don't have idle time to sit around and fiddle with webpages, I just make time because I enjoy it. The main time consumer in my life is going to school at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. There I am a senior and am majoring in Computer Science. So I'm nearing the end of my studies, and things are getting intense. Most of my homework consists of math problems and computer programming. So when I'm not doing Calc III homework or writing a program, then I might update my site. Oh yeah, I have kids too. Two of them. They also tend to demand a lot of my time. I have two girls, Amber (4 yrs.) and Alexia (1.5 years). They are already exact opposites! Amber is tall and skinny, Alexia is short and tubby. Amber has dark skin, eyes, and hair; Alexia has blue eyes, pale skin and white hair. Amber isn't afraid to try or do anything, Alexia won't even ride in a quarter kiddie car at the supermarket. Amber will eat anything, Alexia is as picky as I am - and she pretty much refuses to eat meat. Fortunately they are both adorable; otherwise I don't think I'd be able to get through the other 95% of the time when they're screaming, fighting and being crabapples. I also have a fiancé, Alex. We've been together for 3 years now, and plan to get married in about a year and a half. He just graduated from Truman State University with a bachelor's degree in English. His graduating is a relief, because it gets at least one of us out of school - it's like double trouble when we're both trying to do homework. The kids don't know what to do with themselves, then they drive us both crazy and neither one of us can do homework. Enough about that. So, kids, fiancé, college, keeping up a website. Do I have time to have any hobbies? No! But I do anyway. I must have some fun stuff to do, or I would just go insane. Unfortunately when that happens, my homework or something else has to suffer. So what else do I do? Jigsaw puzzles, but I usually only put one of those together in-between semesters. My main obsession is The Sims 2. It's great! For those of you who are debating buying it, don't wait! Seriously, I have all the expansion packs for the original Sims, and I don't even miss them. It's that much better, trust me. One of these years I might put up stories about my Sims exclusively on UselessFun.com. Doesn't that excite you? So now you know a little about me, but not much more than you did before.
